I first fell in love with Tantus in high school. Tantus is known for their medical grade silicone. Materials are one of the first things I look at when I’m window shopping for new toys. Why silicone? It’s body safe, non-porous, and super easy to clean. A quick boil and your toy is essentially new.
My first Tantus toy was a beautiful teal blue Echo. As a fan of g-spot stimulation and texture, I loved my Echo. It was bullet-vibe compatible and had a flared base making it harness play friendly and anal-safe. I’m using the past tense because unfortunately my Echo and my pets got acquainted when I wasn’t looking. So RIP Echo.
While shopping in the Tantus Grab Bag sale section, I went for the Echo Handle instead of the Echo. This was a very excellent decision. I do not know why more dildos do not come with handles.

The handle makes thrusting so much easier for solo and couple play. The insertable portion of the Echo Handle is about 7 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter – making it a modest sized dildo. Unlike its un-handled counterpart, the Echo Handle does not have a slot for a bullet vibe and of course does not have a flared base. Also note that Tantus makes both single-density and dual-density silicone toys. The Echo Handle is made of the single-density variety and like all its Tantus counterparts it has a firm texture with some drag. Lube is recommended. (And if you would like to use silicone lube, Tantus has tested and approved Pjur silicone and Sliquid Hybrid varieties.)
As a personal side note, I’m not usually a fan of natural colored toys but I cannot turn down Grab Bag pricing. MSRP for the Echo Handle is $57.65 USD. You can find the Echo Handle and its other handled siblings the Goddess Handle, G-Force and Anaconda at tantusinc.com.
- Pros – ergonomic handle making it super easy for thrusting, texture, g-spot stimulation, modest size, medical-grade silicone
- Cons – firm, some drag, silicone makes it a dust-magnet
So where does this toy sit in my box? ![]()
